What you should be
If you are a pure warrior/range/mage i suggest you get at least 25 magic. then u can teleport when you meet some tough players. [pures normally range about from lv 5 to lvl 30 or higher but that is rare]The lvl 40s may present a problem to you because they hit hard [especially to mages]. Quite possibly your main account can’t stand up to these monsters who pk. so i suggest you make a pure if you have the cash.
Items to bring
First of all don’t listen to the idiots you see on other sites. They tell you not to bring something you do not want to lose to the wilderness. Personally I disagree with part of that fact. If you are pking and you are poor and you really want to bring your rune 2h but you can’t afford to lose it. Plus, the next best weapon you have is an adamant battleaxe. you can hit 12s with the battleaxe but you can hit 19s with the 2h. Now you couldnt care less about the battleaxe but you would own with the 2h. This is where I disagree. If you are pking bring things that are good and useful and expensive if they are [Im not suggesting that you should bring a saradomin platebody but a rune one would be fine and it also would be really stupid if you brought full rune [g] to the wilderness too. Now this is where I agree. if you are just going to the castle [lvl 14 and 15 wilderness] just to pick up runes I would definetly not bring ANYTHING worth something over 1000 gp. Well if you are pki ng I think are smart enough to know to bring food. If you don’t whether pking or not you are so DEAD [unless you’re really lucky]!!! Now if you are a lvl 3 to 20 you can bring trout. Now if you are a lvl 20 to 30 you can bring salmon. These are the absolute minimum. I recommend bringing alot of runes if you are going to deep wild. Especially deep wild. You will run out of them quite fast. Not so many arrows though you can pick them up but i suggest you bring alot. Well that is all. Oh yeah don’t go over lvl 20 wild if you are low leveled.
